* Whitsands Bay

I was recently challenged by Robodl95 at Living Sims to create a beach - no details other than that just "I challenge you to create a beach"... I originally attempted to use the large beach at the front of Sunset Valley, I forget it's name - but after coming close to head butting my keyboard and smashing my monitor and developing a nervous twitch in my left eye that could only be cured by eating copious amounts of chocolate - I switched to Recurve Strand, one of the smaller beaches in SV. Even then, I demolished it at least three times - until I built the beach huts, after that it all came along fairly smoothly.

It's named Whitsands Bay after a local beach here in Cornwall, It's not been misspelt by me - but instead, many, many moons ago - the locals dropped the *e* from the *white* part of the name - I assume out of laziness. You may recognise a couple of the pictures, one from my Intro and the other I used to create my banner. I loved building this, once I got into it - and happily, was asked by friends to share it. It has a fairly hefty custom content list so it took me a while to get round to it. You'll find a link to the download at the bottom of this page. I hope you like it.

If you'd like to download this community lot for your game, you'll find it HERE .

I've just received a comment on the guestbook at Sims 3 Musketeers, to say that IdaNoReally has used this lot in a film - if you'd like to take a look at it, it's here - Inside The Kaleidoscope . Enjoy

  1. Hi Lily! Thank you so much for your lots, this beach is lovely. But the CC you used doesn't seem to be in the lot file; is there a list somewhere so I can download the content myself?

    1. Sorry Rebecca! I thought the content had been included. I'm afraid it was sooo long ago that I built this, that I don't have a list of content for it.

    2. S'alright, I think I've identified some things from the pictures. And I can always try WCIF boards. Thank you for responding though!
