Many, many moons ago, when I was a little girl - my family and I camped in the midst of the vineyards in St Emilion in France, a village famous for it's wine. The village square was very charming and everything was set out in an appealing fashion. If I remember correctly, the centre of the village square was where the restaurant had laid out it's tables for customers to eat, and surrounding it were little cafe tables and chairs. There were vines and climbing plants and a general atmosphere of bonhomie. It was wonderful.

I figured that if Bob Newbie is going to feature in Betty's life at all, that his family home needed a revamp... however - upon closer inspection the whole place killed any desire I had to change it and it dried up any creative juices to a mere mud puddle - so I bulldozed the bugger and built a slightly more pleasing, modern home for the family to live in. It was modeled roughly around a plan I found, but altered to suit the family that are going to live in it.

It probably looks very familiar, but it really is very different. This is the cafe in Champs Les Sims... but I've *had at it*. I figure that if Betty is going to continue to travel the world, then I'd like the settings/visuals to be a tad more aesthetically pleasing than they currently are. This one has taken forever to do, because bloody Christmas got in the way of all the fun!
