* Chyandour

So here it is, as promised - a revamp of my own build from the *Start Somewhere* Challenge at Living Sims. Chyandour may seem an odd name but it's a real one... it's Cornish for House By The Water - Chy an dowr in old language. It seemed fitting because that's where I live, Cornwall... and this house has a pond... and it's built in Riverview.

* Magasin Général de Goncalves

This is the last revamp from Champs Les Sims that I currently want to share - I've revamped the bookstore (this isn't it), but it's a bit shit so I'll probably have another go and see if I like it enough to face any critiscism. This one is the General Store - and this one - I like. It's a bit more glam than the original and now has a garden centre, ladies department store (all purely aesthetic) and coffee shop (not aesthetic), as well as luggage and camping gear. It's been play tested and is fully functional and fits in with the rest of village square.

* Les Reliques d'Alexis

This one's another revamp of a Champs Les Sims lot. This time it's the Relics Store. It's a bit more stream lined than the original, with a larger variety of antique looking thingies, rather than row upon row of the same thing. It looks better in game too (well of course it does, or I wouldn't have bothered to revamp it, would I!). As usual, there's a spare building to the left, that has been left.... spare. You can do what you want with it, but I find that the more that sims can do on a lot, the less they do what you actually intended. So I've kept it simple.

* Start Somewhere

Yes... I know... "WTF is that Lily????"

It's a house. A very empty, very unstyled, very *don't got no plants* house... I built it for the Start Somewhere Challenge at Living Sims. A very simple, but extremely challenging challenge, to create a starter home with no (or hardly any) third party custom content - and come in under a specific budget - that budget depending on how many bedrooms and whether they were singles or doubles. I managed it. Just.

Other people managed to furnish theirs, rather beautifully - and that pissed me off enough to make me refurb this one completely... OVER BUDGET.... way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over budget :)

We're Back!!

Sims 3 Musketeers is back up and running! We still have quite a bit to re-upload to the new version of the site, but felt we had just enough to get us going again. Thankyou again for everyone's support since the *hacking* -  we hope you stop by the new website and let us know what you think (good or bad). Anything that's missing from the site now should be back up within the next little while, however - if it isn't - it's because we either no longer have the files, they're broken, or we just didn't like them!!!

Hacked!

As some of you are already aware, Sims 3 Musketeers has been hacked. As far as we can tell, it occurred on the 9th Feburary when we had our backs turned. Sadly, I don't believe we had recently backed up the site, so there is a chance that we may have to start again, or not. We're still sorting a few things out in the background, and as the three of us - Melissa, Webbymom and I, all live in different countries - the process is going to take a little longer than if we could all sit around the same kitchen table with a mug of coffee and lots and lots of cake.

In the mean time, I'm going to attempt to place all of the downloads featured on this blog, elsewhere. It'll take a bit of time (not much, thankfully I've not been that busy here!!!!), but if you continue to click on the links to the downloads that say that you can find them *HERE at Sims3Musketeers* - you should be lead to somewhere like mediafire instead, just for the time being. If you should still be lead to S3M via those links, please try again later. I'm afraid that even though I'm a woman, and therefore a professional multi tasker... sadly, I'm not God (don't tell my family, I've convinced them that I am!), and I have to move at mundane human pace.

Currently, the only file I do not have anywhere, is Tudor Rose. But I ain't fussed by that one, so I don't reckon you'll miss it either!

Thanks to everyone throughout the community for your support since this has happened. You're a wonderful bunch of people and I'm happy to be a part of it all.
