* Twinbrook and Twallan

Even though I finished this lot some time ago, I hadn't play tested it. Good job I did, as Sims were standing in the midst of a tree trunk to BBQ hotdogs, and there was an orderly queue forming around the one BBQ I'd bothered to add - this has all been rectified and it's now available to download at the bottom of this page.
I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew with Twinbrook - I've decided to rebuild and remodel the entire neighbourhood, including all of the residential lots, some of which are already available at S3M.
I've already refurbed all of the Rabbit Holes. Some have been moved to other lots, in order to give me more space to build - there really isn't much in the way of choice when it comes to expanding Twinbrook, so I really have had to do some juggling. I've also built my very first firestation and my good friends, Soil and Em have offered there games to the sacrificial alter that is *play testing* - so far, Soil has reported in that all is well, but I need Em's thumbs up too, before I can share it with everyone else.

I've also been fine tuning Twallans Story progression Mod to suit my own gaming needs, along with Master Controller, Register, Overwatch and Traffic mods... there may well be more than that... oh yes, Relativity... there's also a Relativity mod in my game now *rolls eyes*. I wouldn't be having to learn any of these new things if it weren't for the influence of Jenba, ATS Sandy, Karin, ani_ and lll, all of whom have the most spectacular games I've ever come across. There's also Scout, who is building an amazingly grungy world. I could very possibly name the entire forum at Sims Daily for encouraging me to actually find a way to play my game, that I will enjoy.

During the fine tuning, many random things have occurred - The Curious Family got into debt, some lads arse caught on fire whilst he was buggering about with the inventors machine and Amy Bull got a makeover.

Luckily, budding fire fighter Blaise Kindle was there to alleviate the poor boy's pain. This was a huge deal for me, because one minute I'm with Amy Bull as she's cozying up in bed with Mark Brandt, getting ready for a first woohoo and suddenly the camera shoots across town to this scene. That does not happen without Twallans SP in my game!

I absolutely loved playing Amy, I even built her a brand new Salon (available soon) - she's quite the workaholic and once I've tuned the mods and built all of the lots (could be friggin years at the rate I'm going), I can get back to playing her all over again.

Above is a photo of Amy through the top floor window of the Salon that I built for her, she's in the tatoo parlour, which is completely separate from the Salon - the only issue I have with the Salon, is the constant invasion by Max Racket, a retired gangster I do believe, he wanders around the place with an air of ownership, giving my sims the most HORRENDOUS makeovers - I've decided to fine tune SP to not allow retirement or self employment (if it's possible), coz all of them turn up at the Salon on a daily basis, cluttering up the joint. It's like a window lickers day out for the Sunshine Variety Club, sans bus.

Amazingly, this young lady refused the offer of Amy's stylist services.

Onto the Park...

  1. I don't know where you even find the time for all of this! I'm not getting anything done with you lot! :p

    Fabulous update, Lily! Looking forward to seeing the salon!

  2. Wow, I've never had SP shoot my camera across town before! Then again, I don't PLAY all that much...

    I'm with Dee -- when do you find the time to do all this stuff?? You must be a lot more efficient with your time than I am. :D (I probably spend way too much time downloading crap and managing the crap -- you are wise to avoid this!)

    Amy Bull looks amazing with your makeover, and I absolutely love that shot of her through the window! Twinbrook is looking beautiful under your care, and it sounds like you're becoming a Twallan mods expert...so glad you're enjoying your game. :) Keep keepin' us posted!!

  3. Seriously, you're asking me where I get the time? I gave up on my RL the moment we opened the forum!!! You've all sucked me back into my game, big style.

    You are right though Jen, I save more hours than I care to mention, not having all that cc.

    Dee, I reckon I'm going to have to lock my advertisement threads in the forum, so's you all don't have to post comments absolutely EVERYWHERE!!! It'll give you more time to sim ;)
